Jacobsbaai Sea Products produces and farms with Haliotis midae, a high value abalone species that is a desired seafood throughout the world especially in the East. Our facilities include a state of the art hatchery and nursery that supplies the on-growing department with all the juvenile abalone needed to produce quality abalone for export. The main diet of our abalone is freshly harvested kelp and this is supplemented with artificial feed to ensure that they receive all the nutrients needed to grow into healthy abalone.
